2v2 is operated by Milly Maker Tracker LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the 2v2 mobile application and the public website at 2-v2.com.

2v2 is for adults only. You must be 18 years of age or older to use 2v2. We do not knowingly collect personal information from persons under 18. If you believe a minor has created a 2v2 account, contact support@2-v2.com.

When you create a 2v2 account, you provide your email address, display name, home area, date of birth, activity interests, skill comfort preferences, and availability preferences. Passwords are stored as hashed credentials, not in plain text. You may optionally upload a profile avatar, which is visible to other users in challenges you participate in.

When you create a challenge, we collect the title, description, activity type, skill level, rules, location details, scheduled time, and participant limits. When you join a challenge, we record your participation, including join and leave timestamps and any attendance or outcome information recorded at completion.

When you create a challenge, you provide a location name, neighborhood, and city. The 2v2 app may access your device location to show nearby challenges and to support the location picker. Location details are used to help users find, create, and review nearby challenges.

We collect limited device and app information to operate and improve the service, including device type, operating system version, app version, and error reports through Sentry. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes.

If you submit a report about a user, challenge, or location, we collect the report type and description, the reported content, and your account identifier. If you contact support or submit an appeal, we retain your message and account identifiers to respond and to maintain an appropriate record. Moderation decisions, actions, and appeal outcomes are stored as part of our trust and safety operations.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and maintain your account.
• Show you nearby challenges and let you create challenges.
• Connect you with other participants and hosts.
• Send challenge reminders and status notifications.
• Review reports, enforce our policies, prevent abuse, and protect users.
• Investigate and resolve appeals.
• Respond to support requests.
• Improve the app and diagnose errors.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

Your display name, avatar, home area, and activity interests are visible to other 2v2 users in challenges you participate in or host. Your participation in a challenge is visible to the host and to other participants in that challenge.

We use third-party service providers for hosting, authentication, cloud storage, error monitoring, and analytics. Service providers access information only as needed to perform services for us.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of a person, prevent fraud, or enforce our policies.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.

We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Sentry for error monitoring, and Expo for app distribution and builds. These providers may process personal information on our behalf under their own privacy and security practices.

You can update your profile, upload or change your avatar, request a data export, and request account deletion from the Profile section of the app. Account and data deletion procedures are described in our Account and Data Deletion page. We use technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted data transmission, hashed password storage, authenticated API access, and row-level security on our database. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

We retain account information, challenge data, and participation records while your account is active and for a period after account deletion to support dispute resolution, abuse prevention, and legal obligations. Detailed retention periods and deletion procedures will be described in a separate disclosure. We may update this Privacy Policy as 2v2 develops. Updated policies will be posted with a revised date. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes before they take effect.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
